Sexual Abuse

This includes rape and sexual assault or sexual acts which were not and could not be consented to.

Signs:
• Change in behaviour
• Incontinence
• Withdrawing from family or friends
• Overtly sexual behaviour
• Love bites
• Pain, itching, bruising, or bleeding in the genital area
• Frequent infections, sexually-transmitted disease (STD), urinary tract or vaginal bruising
• Bruising to upper thighs and arms
