The Brixton Blood Donor Centre is now open, taking up a prominent position within the local community.
Sickle cell disease is the fastest growing genetic condition in Britain. With the opening of the centre, it is hoped that everyone, especially members of the Black community, will be encouraged to donate.
The centre is open every day and is located at 444 Brixton Road, SW9 8BH.
