If you've recently found some reddish spots on and around your bedding, or you feel you may have been bitten whilst asleep, it maybe down to that most horrible of pests... the bed bug!
Bed bugs are small, the size of a sunflower seed and are long, brown, flat and oval in appearance. Before they've eaten, that is!
They can be found hiding in areas such as the seams of mattresses, in between cushions, in luggage, and other places too.

- Regularly wash your bedding and vacuum your home
- Check secondhand furniture thoroughly before taking it home
- Check around your bed, in particular the edges of mattresses, and the headboard
