Get Ready for Work - One day webinar

People have been affected by the pandemic in many different ways, especially in terms of employment. We know that many of our residents have been struggling financially as a result of the pandemic and many have lost their jobs. To support our residents in to finding employment, we’re partnering with Baily Garner and organising a one day employment webinar. The day will consist of different sessions covering different parts of the job search journey from a session on how to write a winning CV to preparing for an interview. Come along to help master skills and techniques that will improve employability and have the opportunity to ask employability experts any questions you may have.

The webinar will be on Wednesday 21 July from 10am to 2:30pm and will take place on Teams, it is open to everyone to attend. Those who attend the full day will automatically be entered into a prize draw where you could win a Get Ready for Work package worth almost £1000 which will include a laptop, PC monitor, a one year subscription to Office 365 and accessories.

The session will be interactive and attendees will be expected to turn on their camera and actively participate to get the most out of the day. The session will also be recorded for those who are unable to make it.
